How to show proof without fake case studies

Proof is a live artifact, a delivery pattern, or a walkthrough. Invented logos, lifts, and testimonials are not proof. A sequence for B2B studios and product teams.

Direct answer

If you cannot name the client, do not imply one. Show the working site, the delivery pattern (constraint, stack, timeline), or a scheduled walkthrough of a portal or panel. Google’s helpful-content and structured-data policies both reject markup and claims that are not visible, original, and true.

Three honest proof types

Artifact: this origin, with its real stack and constraints. Pattern: how a track is typically scoped, labelled as illustrative. Walkthrough: a seeded workspace operated in a call.

Usability 101: evidence next to the claim. ‘Senior review in one business day’ belongs next to the request path, not next to a fake 300% lift.

A practical sequence

Inventory claims, then demote the ones you cannot source.

  • List every number and logo on the site
  • Keep only what you can date and attribute, or what is an operating rule
  • Link delivery patterns without dressing them as wins
  • Offer a walkthrough CTA that goes to a real request form
  • Never put Review schema on pages without real reviews

What Kiwi shows

The marketing site is the website artifact. /case-studies holds delivery patterns for six tracks. Custom portals and operator panels are shown in a live walkthrough on request. We do not publish unnamed client results.

What to send if you want a senior review

Ask for a walkthrough of a website, portal, or panel. Related work at Kiwi: custom website design and development.

Frequently asked questions

Are delivery patterns the same as case studies?

They describe typical constraint, stack, and timeline. They are not attributed client outcomes. The page should say so.

Can we use ‘trusted by’ logos without permission?

No. That is not proof; it is a claim you cannot defend. Skip the row.

Does a walkthrough replace a proposal?

No. A walkthrough is evidence of craft. Scope, fees, and dates stay in a written proposal.
